What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. ServiceNow Developer position at Hireteq Solutions Inc.?
Duration: Direct Hire (Hybrid)
Locations: 1799 Innovation Pt, Fort Mill, SC (south-side Charlotte, NC / Hybrid: Onsite 3 days/Week)
Position Objective:
The Sr. ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for the configuration and acceptable customization of the Client platform. The developer will assist in requirements gathering, innovative designs, configuring and customizing (when necessary) the ServiceNow platform to support Sunbelt Rentals internal and external workflows. The ideal candidate is a seasoned ServiceNow Developer who can work closely with the ServiceNow administrators, process owners and other technology teams to implement a stable and performant baseline platform. The ServiceNow Developer will also need a strong ability to multi-task between growth projects, maintenance projects, and assist in resolving current open issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and 5 years work experience
• ServiceNow Developer certification
• ITIL v3 certification highly preferred
• Ability to develop/configure and enhance core applications including, but not limited to, platform UIs, service portal, mobile app, tables, forms, lists, catalogs, workflows, roles, properties, business rules, ACLs, dashboards, homepages, and reports
• Strong ability to design, build and deliver workflows and service catalog items
• Strong understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB, including integrating, importing data using asset discovery tools
• Advanced understanding of the use of development, test, and production environments
• Expert in update set creation and system cloning
• Skilled in developing custom end-user Service Portals through the internal design process
• Knowledgeable of customizing email notification templates, SLA definitions, and form fields
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development cycle environments
