Overview
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images for medical interpretation.
Duties
- Perform MRI scans on patients following protocols to ensure high-quality images
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patient confidentiality guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of MRI equipment
Skills
- Proficiency in aseptic technique during patient care
- Knowledge of CT, sonography, and other medical imaging techniques
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations based on scan results
- Familiarity with medical terminology for accurate documentation
