THE ROLE
We are leading the search for a skilled QA Automation Engineer for our client in the event management space. This critical hire will be fundamental in automating our clients testing initiatives to ensure the highest quality for their live event management products. This role will also own a sizable portion of the overall QA strategy and execution.
This role is hybrid in Chicago, IL
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Serve as a QA Automation expert for a burgeoning team, utilizing your knowledge to bolster their legacy servers.
- Learn the organization's infrastructure, write manual tests and handle customer support tickets.
- Take ownership of writing automation test cases.
- Understand client needs by interacting with customers to resolve platform issues.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Experience testing React Native applications (Expo based is a plus)
- Experience with Detox, Maestro, Appium or other similar test automation frameworks
- Experience with Jest and React Native Testing Library
- Experience working in an Atlassian environment
- Experience with programming languages like PHP or Python
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
