THE ROLE
We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of eCommerce, CRM, and digital platforms for our client’s retail division. This role reports to the Vice President of eCommerce and will be pivotal in shaping the development of their eCommerce technology. You will manage a team of product managers, product owners, and business analysts, focusing on optimizing the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and driving performance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Oversee the eCommerce product roadmap to support business KPIs and stakeholder needs.
Lead a team of product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver exceptional digital products.
Balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on execution and detailed project management.
Mentor and guide a team of product professionals, aligning their priorities with business goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
Manage product budgets and timelines to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
Incorporate data-driven insights to prioritize features and improve product performance.
Leverage customer insights to inform product development and enhance user experience.
Utilize Agile and Lean methodologies to ensure rapid iteration and product delivery.
Drive Go-To-Market strategies for successful product launches and adoption.
WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED
BA / BS in engineering, computer science, business, or related technical field; MBA preferred.
10 years of experience in Product Management, with 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in eCommerce and digital product strategy in high-growth environments.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide a product team through the full lifecycle.
Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce, Magento, etc.) and data tools.
Strong analytical skills to turn market insights into actionable strategies.
Proficiency in agile development principles and experience making tough product prioritization decisions.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and frameworks, particularly in the cannabis industry.
Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required.
