Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Program Management and Delivery:

o Manage all aspects of a software product development program of $5M. Direct the activities of two Project Managers charged with executing subprojects under the program

o Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex technology projects within the SDLC, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality features and solutions

o Drive alignment of roadmaps while assessing, communicating, and mitigating risks and dependencies across delivery streams and portfolios

o Under the general direction of the Project Management Office, create, manage, and complete a cross-functional program plan composed of sub projects, all to be successfully executed within costs, timelines, and quality by internal resources and third-party development resources

2. Team Leadership:

o Coordinate with IntelliTrans’ product management, release, IT, marketing, sales, and support teams to create a seamless transition from project initiation to implementation and support, including defining and controlling program and project scope and objectives

o Manage multiple onshore and offshore Agile development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability

o Establishes and build strong working relationships with senior leadership, stakeholders, and resource teams, to ensure the successful delivery of Intellitrans products using a wide-ranging experience, professional concepts, and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

3. Metrics and Reporting:

o Able to demonstrate the progress of the roadmap, program, and projects, and effective use of resources through Earned Value and key delivery gates

o Use consistent metrics to assess risks, inform prioritization, and support decision-making processes

o Provides regular status reports, dashboards, and a regular cadence of meetings to stakeholders and resource teams

Qualifications:

1. Experience:

o 8 years of hands-on experience managing complex technology projects with multiple development teams on programs of $5M or above

o Strong technical background, preferably with prior experience in software engineering, DevOps, or IT project management

o 5 years’ experience and deep understanding of the SDLC, Scrum methodologies, and scaled Agile practices

o Highly organized with advanced problem-solving skills, expertise w/Excel, MS Office, and Smartsheet (including advanced reports and dashboards in Smartsheet)

o Advanced abilities at PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership

o Expertise at modeling project costs, capacity, hours consumed, budget and Project P/L (using Earned Value Concepts)

o Expertise at controlling overall program management in Jira, MS Teams and Smartsheet

2. Leadership Skills:

o Experience managing onshore-offshore delivery models in an Agile environment

o Demonstrated ability to drive governance, manage dependencies, and optimize organizational delivery

o Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with project sponsors, technical project managers, and cross-functional teams including writing, speaking, presenting, and listening skills

o Strong coaching skills to enable senior leadership and resource teams to resolve issues and align program performance with organizational goals

3. Education:

o Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or equivalent experience as a Program Lead on Technology based portfolios

o PMI PMP or SAFe Certification or equivalent Project Management Certification

4. Preferred Experience:

o Direct experience with managing freight movement, intermodal transport, or Supply Chain Logistics in addition to experience in software architecture, system integrations, and cloud-based applications within an enterprise SaaS solution
