Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill infants in the NICU, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Perform catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding as required.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings in EHR systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer basic life support and airway management as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric physiology and critical care practices.
Qualifications
- Current RN License
- Proficient in catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding
- Strong patient assessment and care skills
- Experience in critical care and travel nursing (FIRST TIME TRAVELERS ACCEPTED)
- Ability to manage airway and provide basic life support
- patients and in inpatient settings
- AHA BLS and PALS
- Trach experience required
