Toyota of Pharr is seeking a results-driven, experienced Service Director to lead our high-volume service department , handling over 3,000 repair orders per month . Job Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the service team to achieve top-tier performance.
Oversee service department operations , including workflow management, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor sales, service gross profit, and customer retention.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, warranty requirements, and dealership procedures .
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service, retention, and CSI scores .
Manage department budgets while driving efficiency and profitability.
Foster a collaborative culture between service, parts, and other dealership departments.
Implement ongoing training programs to enhance employee skills and elevate service quality.
Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring high satisfaction and resolution of service issues.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Service Director, Service Manager, or in a senior leadership role within a dealership.
Prior experience in a high-volume service department (3,000 repair orders per month) is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of dealership service operations, warranty procedures, and manufacturer guidelines .
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills .
Ability to analyze financial statements, set department goals, and drive performance metrics .
Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and service software .
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management.
Toyota brand experience or other high-volume manufacturer experience is highly preferred.
Work Environment :
Fast-paced, high-volume dealership setting.
Requires frequent interaction with technicians, service advisors, and customers.
May involve occasional movement in and around the service shop.
