Hirsch & Westheimer, P.C. seeks to hire one or more Bankruptcy Attorneys in its Bankruptcy Practice for Immediate Opening
Qualifications
- The ideal candidates will have a strong background in business and commercial bankruptcy law, preferably creditor-side with a proven track record of handling complex cases and a book of business
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas
- 5 years plus of experience in bankruptcy law and practice
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Desire to develop and maintain a book of business (portable book of business is welcomed but not required)
- Experience with high-stakes business / commercial / bankruptcy cases and complex legal issues, with emphasis on creditor representation
- Established network within the Houston legal community, particularly bankruptcy bar
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
