What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Manager position at HIS Constructors?
HIS Constructors, Inc is looking for a Transport manager who is responsible for leading the total HIS Transport, LLC business unit functions including all dump truck hauling, low boys, hydro-vac, roll-off and vac truck work.
Responsibilities:
· Manage all transport hauling and trucking equipment assets and drivers.
· Promote and market the transportation company and grow the third-party hauling business.
· Responsible for the development of use rates for utilization of hauling and other truck related assets by HIS Constructors (HIS) and Blue River Environmental and Restoration (BRER).
· Develop and manage a program for all Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all Transport assets so that they are always available for use.
· Manage the billing to third parties and internal customers monthly with accounting.
· Work with accounting to review monthly utilization and capital repairs.
· Maintain relationships with rental companies and parts suppliers.
· Dispatching of all Transport dump trucks, lowboys, hydro-vac, vac truck, and roll-off trucks.
· Recruit and hire the needed drivers to sustain the business.
· Responsible for the profit or loss of the business.
· Any other duties assigned by management.

Education
4 year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Communication Skills
The individual must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Strong business writing skills. Possess high verbal skills displaying pleasantness, courteousness, and professionalism.
Mathematical Skills
Must possess mathematical skills consistent with basic engineering functions.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, or other comparable software, in a Windows environment. Understanding or ability to learn ViewPoint accounting software, Microsoft Projects scheduling software and HCSS Dispatcher a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
