What are the responsibilities and job description for the CE Planning Analyst position at Hisense USA?
Duties/Responsibilities
- Long-term plan and key resource management
- Work with the Sales team, Business Planning team and SCM Demand Planning team to maintain the rolling 12-month plan based on the demand, making sure the volume, product structure can support the financial goal.
- Work with HQ team to review the resource supply, reserve the long lead time resource to make sure the demand can be fulfilled.
- Work with the Mexico Factory to review the capacity, figure out the potential issue and fix the issue to make sure the capacity can be enough to satisfy the demand.
- Rolling Plan management
- Rolling plan update, Weekly update on the rolling plan based on the replenishment plan to HQ, other than considering demand customers, product development schedule, how to pack the materials, production capacity of different factories, key resource supply, and costs must be considered.
- Supply issues follow up, follow up with HQ team about the supply issues, such as resource issue, shipping space issue, to make sure the issues being fixed.
- Rolling Plan Analysis, analyze the rolling plan in different aspects including product structure, annual target completion, long-term plan conformance, rolling plan accuracy to continuously improve.
- Fulfillment management
- Incoming plan maintenance, weekly update the estimated incoming based on the China material shipping schedule, production schedule.
- Production follow up, Work with the Mexico Factory on long-term capacity planning and short-term production plan to make sure the production can be finished on time to support the incoming plan. Monitor the execution of the production plan, evaluate and continuously improve Production Planning Conformance.
- Shipping arrangement, work with the Logistics team on the shipping resource plan, arrange shipping from Mexico to US DC to satisfy customer demand via different location. Monitor the execution of the shipping plan, evaluate and continuously improve Production Planning Conformance.
- Customer order fulfillment, work with the Order Management about the customer POs confirm the order fulfillment based on the inventory availability, incoming schedule to make sure the POs can be fully fulfilled timely.
- Project work, process improvement and tool optimization
- Project work with the HQ and Mexico Factory to manage the factory audits, lead the project to shorten the lead time and improve the fulfillment availability and flexibility.
- Continuously improve the supply end to end process, including the resource reservation process, long-term capacity preparation process, to improve the efficiency.
- Work with the HQ and IT team to improve the GSS system and implement some other IT tools to combine rolling plan and production plan to generate the incoming information.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Finance, or similar relevant field.
- 3-5 years’ experience with global sourcing and supply base management position criteria, or production or manufacturing operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel SAP System knowledge and experience.
- Excellent prioritization and time-management skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and adjust work accordingly.
- Great interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinker, good team player, and result oriented problem-solving skills.
