About the Role:
The Youth Services Director plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing programs that support the well-being and development of young individuals within the community. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of youth services, ensuring that they are effective, accessible, and aligned with the organization's mission. The director will collaborate with various stakeholders, including schools, community organizations, and families, to create a supportive environment for youth. Additionally, the role involves evaluating program outcomes and making data-driven decisions to enhance service delivery. Ultimately, the Youth Services Director aims to empower young people to reach their full potential through comprehensive support and resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Public Health, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in youth services or a related area, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in grant writing and fundraising for youth programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for school age children and youth services that align with organizational goals.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Attend all meetings required by funders.
- Oversee after-school program activities and family engagement activities required by grantees. As well as all programs under the Youth Center.
- Establish partnerships with community organizations, schools, and local government to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, using data to inform improvements and report on progress to stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure sustainability and growth of youth services.
