Now, About This Job
The Family Strengthening Program (FSP) Success Coach (SC) is responsible for providing initial assessments to identify risks and protective factors as well as developing a Family Nurturing Plan with each family. The FSP performs work in both English and Spanish.
The FSP Success Coach will facilitate training sessions, case management services, follow-ups, and ongoing meetings with each participant to ensure the achievement of program goals. The Success Coach will facilitate make-up sessions and work with program staff and participants to prepare Family Building Events.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with participants to develop individualized Family Nurturing Plans
- Guiding participants in overcoming challenges by developing skills and strategies
- Conducting pre- and post-assessments using designated tools
- Documenting data and supporting developmental screenings
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and detailed case notes and documentation
- Facilitating referrals for internal and external services as needed
- Stepping in to lead Nurturing Parenting curriculum sessions and family-building events when the Parent Facilitator is absent (training provided)
- Participating in monthly planning meetings and training sessions
- Providing program feedback to management for continuous improvement
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position to promote the Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP) curriculum and set meetings with participants during the week, weekends, and/or evenings to accommodate family schedules. The Success Coach must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed by contract and program. Currently, services within the FSP program are available virtually and in person.

Candidate Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is recommended to hold an Associate Degree. Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, counseling, psychology, or related field preferred or equivalent years of direct experience in case management.
- The candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- A working with families is recommended. Some of the experience includes Parent and Child assessment, group-based facilitation, counseling sessions, and Case Management services to families.
- The candidate must be willing to earn the NPP certification.
- The candidate must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse families and communities.
- The candidate must work effectively in a team environment, have a positive attitude, and handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion.
- Successful candidates will have the knowledge and ability to use computers (Microsoft programs) and related technology efficiently and have experience handling data systems.
- The candidate must have the ability to travel independently and possess a valid Florida driver’s license and insurance (Proof Required).
- Successful candidates must be able to pass a Background Check.
The salary range for this non-exempt, full-time position is $22.83-$23.55/hr (commensurate with experience). A generous benefits package includes health insurance, vacation, sick, personal time, and paid holidays.
