DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, call, and develop prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory.
- Accountable to meet sales quotas and monthly sales activity goals while maintaining records of activity results in CRM system.
- Create target lists, participate in sales blitzes, and pursue prospective business within assigned territory.
- Build relationships with new and existing customers to conduct sales presentations, perform needs assessments, and vehicle demonstrations.
- Monitor market conditions, Kenworth innovations, and competitors? products and pricing.
- Develop proper equipment specification for opportunities by keeping current on medium and heavy-duty truck specifications.
- Sees that equipment is correctly delivered and meets all of the conditions of the sale, and takes action to render prompt service in case of any deficiencies.
- Write complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
- Follows all accounting and procedural rules as outlined in the Sales Department Polices Book and the Company Employee Handbook.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the Sales Manager.
- Abides by the company Drug Free Policy.
