Events Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities

The Events Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordinating, supervising and execution of special events and programs across non-amusement park venues.

· Events include weddings; rehearsal dinners; company outings; corporate meetings; family events; fundraisers; excursion boat cruises, and live entertainment associated with these events.

· Ensures that events run smoothly and efficiently and that guests are left with lifetime memories of their experience

· Assists with event planning as well as the coordination of support services, communications, staffing, and event set-up.

· Provides direction to the staff and ensures a high level of customer service is provided by all

· Assist with the supervision and direction of staff, vendors, etc., to setup and successfully execute all aspects of events on the scheduled day

· Other responsibilities and event management duties as assigned by the Events Manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience

· Previous event planning and leadership experience preferred

Preferred Skills

· Highly organized and detail oriented

· A passion for customer service and providing an experience that will create lasting memories

· Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps

· Due to the seasonal nature of our business, position requires full availability including evenings, weekends, holidays or as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
