Duties
- Operate cash registers and perform cash handling duties with precision and accuracy.
- Process transactions for guests, including cash exchanges, check cashing, and credit transactions.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all financial records are up to date and accurate.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and resolving any issues related to transactions.
- Utilize basic math skills and retail math to ensure accurate cash management.
- Perform 10-key typing for efficient data entry related to financial transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the cage area of the casino.
- Adhere to all banking regulations and casino policies regarding cash handling procedures.
Qualifications
Must possess a South Dakota Gaming License
- Previous role is preferred, particularly in a retail or casino environment.
- Strong cash handling skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic math and retail math concepts.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Outstanding guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with 10-key typing is advantageous for transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
