Historic Hudson Valley's Communications & Commerce Department seeks an experienced, digital savvy Digital Marketing Manager who will help the department increase revenue, visibility, and awareness for Historic Hudson Valley and the organization's initiatives, both on-site, online, and in the community.
The Digital Marketing Manager supports digital functions and initiatives to reach established and new audiences. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager's primary responsibilities are managing the marketing and shopping websites, overseeing and implementing email marketing strategy and calendars, and social media content, planning, and strategy. Additionally, this role assists in developing overall marketing strategies, sourcing and / or creating digital marketing materials, database and CMS management, and a variety of back-end maintenance tasks.
Traditional lines between marketing, media relations, publishing, and customer engagement are blurred, and HHV's marketing team embraces this as a source of growth and employs strategies that take advantage of new opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have three to seven years of professional experience with a proven track record in media, marketing, and / or public relations, preferably with exposure to cultural or entertainment organizations, and be a strategic thinker with excellent judgement.
Responsibilities include :
Upload and maintain content on marketing, ticketing, shopping websites, and education micrositesDevelop or source creative and compelling content for websites, including creating webpages, blogs, graphics, and videosCreate and maintain content calendarAssist with monitoring Google Analytics and report on trends and dataOptimize websites and all content for SEOManage app updates and alertsManage all listings, including Google My BusinessEmail Communications
Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement email communication strategiesDesign and deploy digital marketing communications, including newsletters, surveys, and customer-service emailsTrack, evaluate, and report on email campaign resultsUtilize our CRM to generate targeted lists as neededSupport digital communications efforts for other internal departments, including Education, Development, Membership, and RetailCoordinate email communications schedule with all departmentsDevelop and coordinate email cross-promotions with external partnersSocial Media
Develop and curate content, including graphics and videosStrengthen influencer marketing programs with a goal of driving audience acquisition, engagement, and growthCreate and maintain a social media calendarMonitor engagement, responding as appropriate with followersCoordinate social media campaigns, including partnerships, and assist with reportingDigital Advertising
Assist in developing and executing comprehensive digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising) to achieve marketing and brand awareness goalsManage campaign budgets and optimize and report on campaign results to stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights
