What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Lead Guide, Cogswell's Grant position at Historic New England?
Description: Historic New England seeks a seasonal, part-time Lead Guide to work at Cogswell’s Grant for the 2025 season. The Lead Guide will conduct tours and assist the Site Manager as needed, handling daily museum operations including tour admissions and online ticketing, museum shop, light cleaning, and opening and closing the museum. The Lead Guide will help with the guide schedule, and assist with group tours and special programs. Training is provided.
Qualifications: Applicants should have experience with and enjoy working with the public, have an interest in history and art, and have strong computer skills. Experience in customer service is desirable. Must be available on Fridays and Saturdays, have a flexible schedule, and commit to employment through the end of the 2025 season, May - October.
