What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Historic Santa Maria Inn?
Entry Level Position for an individual who meets following qualifications:
Available to work weekends and holidays
Available to work the following shifts: 8:00am-4:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm
Knowledge of general hotel maintenance
Must be able to multi-task & work well with others
Good communication skills
Can work well on own without supervision
Must be able to lift 50lbs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision while performing all essential duties to satisfaction and company standard.
- Assisting guests upon request, responding to all guest requests with diligent follow through in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of hotel exterior.
- Performing repairs listed on work orders and following the work order process. Repairs must be made in a timely fashion and professional manner.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work area in the maintenance room, while managing and safe guarding all maintenance tool inventory on a daily basis.
- Performing daily maintenance of pool and or spa in accordance with ESA policies, procedures and in compliance with local ordinance.
