Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and process all North American Mass Production Accounts Payable transactions, reconcile A/P detail to the General Ledger, calculate and process vendor retro payments, and enhance and develop the Pay on Receipt functionality. This is expected to be a hybrid position that can sit in either our Greenfield/Muncie, IN locations or our Tarboro, NC location.
Description of Duties & Responsibilities / % Time Spent
- Run APIC utility to create internal control number invoices and process manual Invoice Control Number for trading partners. Auto Deduct vendors – retrieve invoices from Portal and ones that come via e-mail and process them into Glovia Daily: 20%
- Process North America ACH, Check, Auto Deducts, and Wire payments. Maintain prepayments. Running and Posting activity in the Financial Information Management System and updating INFOR. Collecting 3 different currencies from the portal and input in Glovia daily: 25%
- Reconcile payment in error for Pay on Receipt MASS vendors (receipt error & unit price error): 10%
- Process Wire payment Statement confirmation from Japan (Monthly); Process select vendor statement confirmations (Monthly); Process Domestic Vendor Statement Confirmation (Weekly): 20%
- Analyze the Aging Report for ACH (weekly), Check (quarterly), and Wire (once a month) Vendors. Analyze uncleared RTVs: 10%
- Reconcile AP Aging Balances for all Aging Accounts, including the AP; Un-cleared Acct, Ap Un-Vouchered Acct, AP Return Clearing Acct, Inventory in transit Acct, AP Revaluation Gain / Loss Yen Purchase; Complete Utility and Waste Accruals – Tarboro: 10%
- Assist vendors and internal users with using/navigating OLOS as well as communicating with vendors via email, teams, etc: 5%
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
- Maintains clean and orderly work environment in accordance with 6S
- Interacts with various levels of associates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- N/A
Software:
- Basic experience required in Windows
- Basic experience with MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Glovia preferred
Essential to Job Functions – Physical and/or Mental Restrictions:
- Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting
- Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
