Hitachi Energy is seeking a Subcontracts Delivery Manager. The Subcontracts Delivery Manager will be based in the field at the project location. Current project location Sunzia site in Pinal County, Arizona or Corona New Mexica. Role requires relocation to new project site upon completion. The Primary responsibility of the subcontract’s delivery manager is to effectively manage the various Subcontracts from a commercial perspective.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare Subcontract specific management tools, agenda and reporting.
- Organize and conduct site Subcontract specific kick off meetings with each Subcontractor and the Hitachi Energy project team.
- Receive Subcontract reports as per Subcontract requirements and distribute to HE projects team for comments.
- Manage Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) from / to subcontractors.
- Receive and analyze variation order requests from subcontractors.
- Prepare Subcontract specific variation orders, communicate within Hitachi Energy (HE) and to the sub-contractors.
- Receive and analyze notifications / claims from subcontractor.
- Receive, analyze and process HE Internal Change Orders for Subcontracts, for example design and site changes.
- Implement external change orders from client or third parties for relevant Subcontracts.
- Request subcontractor to present mitigation plan, if needed.
- Manage the Subcontract payment process.
- Manage and report costs related to claims, non-conformances, costs of poor quality (COPQ), change orders and any other non-budgeted site costs.
- Monitor and report Subcontractor specific progress, performance, risks and opportunities.
- Prepare, compile monthly reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for all ongoing Subcontracts.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with HVDC’s Code of Ethics and HE company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- (Bachelor’s Degree) in commercial related field i.e. BSc equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 (ten) years of work experience in heavy / industrial business and preferably in power sector.
- Minimum of 5 (five) years in subcontract management experience, this includes commercial, contractual and construction awareness.
- Technical background is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook
