Accountabilities
- Inspect Commercial off the Shelf items (COTS), electronic assemblies, castings & machined components for dimensions, workmanship, compliance with Hitachi drawings and technical specifications.
- Create Quality Notifications (QN), quarantine non-conforming products to the appropriate area, and distribute the QN via email to the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer for resolution.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), record findings on associated forms, and make entries on the FAI SharePoint site.
- Record inspection results in SAP.
- Assist in gathering department assets for weekly calibration.
