Job Description
A key member of our team, the Incoming Inspector will be responsible for inspecting Commercial off the Shelf items (COTS), electronic assemblies, castings & machined components. This involves ensuring that all products meet specific dimensions, workmanship and technical specifications.
Key Accountabilities:
- Inspect COTS items, electronic assemblies, castings & machined components for quality and accuracy.
- Create Quality Notifications (QN) and quarantine non-conforming products to the appropriate area.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), record findings on associated forms and make entries on the FAI SharePoint site.
- Record inspection results in SAP.
- Assist in gathering department assets for weekly calibration.
About the Role:
This is a critical role within our organization, requiring a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
