Job Summary :

The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a global and very dynamic team of dedicated professionals. The candidate will be part of a rotational development program aimed to enhance individual skills, provide career advancement, and help contribute as part of our winning Team. This program provides early exposure to world class technology and product development processes, while also acclimating participants to the Hitachi Astemo culture. The rotational program offers a unique opportunity to move between different functions and locations to gain a fuller understanding of our company. Program Components:

• Individual Career Development Plans;
• Formalized Career Discussion to give participants input into their development plan;
• Career development/assignment review by the Cross Functional Executive Design Engineering Development Team;
• Hands on exposure to multiple internal departments and projects;
• Domestic and possible international training assignments;
• Annual wage and merit review;
• Second year market salary adjustment.

Special Knowledge / Skills:

• Experience coordinating and facilitating several small or one major project.

• Strong written, verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
• Highly motivated and disciplined in time management.
• Ability to work independently while provided proper direction.
• Experience working in multi-cultural environments is a plus.

Additionally, experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools is also required.

Education: BS/MS in Engineering or IT.

Experience: 0-3 years of related experience. Previous related internships or co-ops a plus.

Working conditions:

Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time in an industrial lab environment. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Working remotely is allowed but must be able to physically be present in the office/lab when duties dictate the need.

Travel: Readiness to travel domestic up to 10% annually and possibly internationally every quarter (not including the rotational relocation)
