Prime Responsibilities and Major Factors in Evaluating Performance:
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements, and accounting reports.
- Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries, accounting classifications assigned to various records and transactions.
- Review and analyze general ledger accounts and propose adjustments as needed.
- Maintain and analyze project tracking reports.
- Assist with the annual budgeting and strategic planning process.
- Evaluate and implement internal control policies and procedures.
- Prepare audit schedules and assist with the annual audit.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Quarterly and annual reporting of government surveys.
- Assist with accounts payable, billing and cash applications as needed.
- Review customer accounts and initiate collections calls as necessary.
- Maintain fixed asset database.
- Daily cash management.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
2. CPA (certified or in process) preferred.
3. Foreign exchange experience preferred.
4. 3 years of accounting and reporting experience, including a minimum of 2 years with a public accounting firm.
5. Must possess strong analytical skills, be detailed oriented, work well under deadlines and be able to manage multiple priorities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
7. Must have strong, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
8. Experience with Host Analytics or similar financial reporting software such as Hyperion a plus.
