About Us:
The Holland Chapter of Truth at Work hosts an annual conference designed to inspire and equip Christian business leaders. Our 2025 Conference will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025, and we are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to help plan and execute a successful event.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a part-time Event Coordinator (10-20 hours per week) to lead the planning and execution of our annual conference. This hybrid role offers remote flexibility but will require more in-person availability as the event approaches. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in event planning, marketing, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Logistics:
- Secure and coordinate the event venue.
- Identify and book keynote speakers and panelists.
- Manage event timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Marketing & Communications:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the event.
- Oversee the creation of the event website and promotional materials.
- Coordinate social media, email campaigns, and outreach efforts.
- Registration & Attendee Experience:
- Manage event registration and attendee communications.
- Plan event schedules, materials, and logistics.
- Coordinate volunteers and on-site event needs.
- Sponsorship & Partnerships:
- Assist in securing sponsorships and partnerships for the event.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning, marketing, or project management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in marketing tools, website management, and social media.
- Comfortable working remotely with flexibility for in-person meetings closer to the event.
- Passion for faith-based business leadership and community engagement is a plus.
Compensation & Commitment:
- Part-time: 10-20 hours per week
- Hybrid role: Mostly remote, with increased in-person presence leading up to the event
- Compensation based on experience
