VBG Event Coordinator
Venue Bella Giornata is the newest member of Peppinos Hospitality Group [PHG] and is the culmination of nearly 50 years in the food, beverage, and hospitality industry. From 1976 to present day, PHG passionately evolved as an industry leader in several segments; the most notable being fast-casual dining, catering, beverage service, and event coordination. Experience matters! VBG will host weddings, social events, showers, corporate events and more!
Overview:
The event coordinator will report directly to the venue manager. Event coordinators are responsible for attending final meetings, ceremony rehearsals and final venue walk-throughs. The event coordinator will primarily be responsible for day of event coordination. The day of coordination will follow all guidelines written out in event BEO’s and BFO’s.
Responsibilities
· Timeline creation: developing a detailed timeline for the wedding day; including setup, ceremony, and reception.
· Décor & design. Installation of any in-house rental items. Manage rental inventory day of event.
· Vendor coordination: communicate with vendors during the event to ensure entire vendor team follows same event.
· Ceremony coordination: ensuring that the ceremony runs smoothly, coordinating with the officiant wedding party and musicians.
· Reception coordination: overseeing the flow of the reception, including grand entrance, speeches, first dance, cake cutting, and other key moments indicated from the couple.
· Guest management: assist with guest tracking, seating arrangements and VIP table assignments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
