Key Responsibilities:
The OnBase Systems Administrator will serve as the principal line of communication for the project
team. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
∙Analyze server performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades
as needed to ensure optimization.
∙Perform Active Directory management activities.
∙Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems
documentation.
∙Inventory, document, install, and maintain OnBase applications on servers and assist users with
access.
∙Research and recommend appropriate technical solutions to meet functional requirements.
∙Provide recommendations for possible process improvements within the OnBase team.
∙Create schedules for the development and implementation of OnBase systems.
∙Develop system test plans to ensure OnBase software meets design criteria.
∙Perform additional Systems Administrator tasks as required by the Department.
Requirements:
∙Excellent communication and presentation skills, including fluency in English.
∙Five (5) or more years of IT experience.
∙Three (3) or more years of Hyland OnBase software.
∙Configuration and administration of Content Management system(s).
∙Experience working in a virtual server environment.
∙Three (3) or more years of experience in OnBase System Administration, including working
experience with three or 3 key OnBase modules.
∙Two (2) or more years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) queries.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
∙Five (5) or more years of experience administering Active Directory Domain Services.
∙Experience with administering Windows servers.
∙Possess a valid OnBase Systems Administrator certification.
∙Configuration and administration of Hyland OnBase software and modules.
∙Experience preparing status reports and providing management briefings.
∙Experience with servers and systems utilized in a criminal justice environment.
∙Possess a valid Hyland OnBase Advanced Systems Administration certification, Hyland OnBase
WorkFlow Administrator Professional certification, and a valid Hyland OnBase WorkView
Administrator Professional certification.
∙Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment
∙Knowledge of integrating OnBase with other enterprise systems and databases.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize system
performance.
∙Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in OnBase customizations, such as
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), C Sharp (C#), and JavaScript.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience.
