About the Role
This is a full funnel sales role at a startup. As an early-stage employee, you will be working closely with the founders/C-Suite, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. As a Collaboration Consultant, you will report directly to the Director, Go-to-Market, who is a former consultant at PwC - Strategy& and Account Executive at Oracle-NetSuite.
Within Hive you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process after reception of a qualified lead, from identifying key client pain points, to product demos to closing deals. The ideal candidate is a passionate, intellectually curious, and competitive individual who has been a top performer in a consulting or sales role and wants a new challenge with significant upside.
This role is hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week (Tu-Th) in our Union Square office. OTE of $140,000 to $160,000.
Responsibilities
- Pursue qualified leads passed from business development to close new business and actively engage closed clients for upsell (for a period post-close)
- Manage the full sales-cycle, including requirements gathering, product demonstrations negotiations, etc.
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Create long-lasting relationships with clients through frequent touchpoints
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to set up onboarding trainings and optimize adoption
- Provide feedback to the Product/Engineering teams to ensure Hive’s features meet the needs of customers
Key qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or consulting
- Desire to learn new sales skills (i.e. demoing, negotiation)
- Record of being a strong performer
- Demonstrated ability to form deep relationships with clients
- Team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams
- Strong communicator who is highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Thrive in an upbeat environment and are energized by a monthly sales cycle
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Gong, Hubspot) is a plus
- Startup experience a bonus
