We are seeking an experienced Mechatronics Technician to join our diverse and safety-centric team. This role involves assembling and testing precision motion systems with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Job Description
Under general supervision and coordination with the Engineering team, this position assembles and tests precision motion systems to ensure they meet customer specifications and are completed on time. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reads and follows work orders and assembly instructions for precision single-axis stages and multi-axis systems;
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions using measuring instruments and test indicators;
- Connects Hiwin electronics to motion stages, runs test programs, and makes measurements to verify conformance to specifications;
- Creates, tests, and labels extension cables according to job details and wiring schematics;
- Completes forms, prepares data sheets, and test reports;
- Operates designated machines and special test equipment, performs routine maintenance, and evaluates test performance and construction data with the Engineering team;
- Receives instructions from and reports data to Engineers and other manufacturing personnel;
- Maintains work cell area by organizing space efficiently and ensuring proper housekeeping;
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
