Position Summary: Harris Keenan & Goldfarb is a leading personal injury law firm based in New York City, dedicated to representing individuals who have been injured due to negligence or medical malpractice. We are seeking highly motivated and passionate law students to join our team as paid interns. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in these fields and mentorship opportunities provided by our partners, who are esteemed alumni of New York Law School & Hofstra. A semester-long part-time externship is also available based on performance during the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys with legal research, case preparation, and drafting legal documents.
• Conduct comprehensive case reviews, including collecting and organizing evidence, medical records, and client information.
• Attending client interviews, witness meetings, and court proceedings.
• Collaborating with the legal team on various projects to support case development.

Qualifications:
• Enrollment in an accredited US Law School with a strong academic record.
• Interest in personal injury law and a desire to pursue a legal career in this field.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Compensation: $20 - 26 per hour, commensurate with experience. Possibility to continue on as a paid part-time extern for a semester based on performance during the summer.
