What are the responsibilities and job description for the Task Force (1099) Group Sales Manager position at HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts?
The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for driving group business through proactive sales efforts. This includes identifying, securing, and maintaining group bookings for corporate meetings, social events, conferences, and other large-scale gatherings.
Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure group sales opportunities within the assigned market segment, including corporate, social, and association markets.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and event planners. Negotiate group rates, terms, and contracts in alignment with the hotel’s objectives.
Follow up on inquiries, qualify leads, and convert them into confirmed group bookings.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the smooth execution of group bookings, including room blocks, meeting spaces, catering, and event logistics.
Monitor local competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and personalized service to clients before, during, and after events.
Track sales performance, report on sales metrics, and provide regular updates to the Sales Director and senior management team.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build relationships and generate leads.
Work closely with other hotel departments such as Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to ensure group business goals are aligned and met.
Retain relationships with current sales accounts by acting as a point of contact/touchpoint for long-term customers.
Effectively conduct site visits of the property.
Able to present themselves well in business attire while on property.
Requires onboarding at the property. Limited travel to the property required during Task Force duration.

Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or group sales management, with a proven track record of success.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, event planning, and group booking processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong proficiency with sales and event management software
Monthly Salary: $6000/ Per Month
