H.M. DUNN AEROSYSTEMS, INC. is a manufacturer of complex aerospace components and assemblies with operations in Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. The company’s capabilities include ninety high-speed CNC machines, bonding, chemical milling, and finishing. The company specializes in small, medium and large-scale aircraft assemblies of varying complexity for the commercial aerospace and defense industry.
Summary:
Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and multi-axis CNC machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts to customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Change out and set up tools
- Operate multi-axis machines
- Dimensionally check parts (up to CMM)
- Read programs and make minor speeds and feeds program changes
- Verify tool lengths and cutter run outs
- Trouble shoot jobs
- Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
- Accept and adapt easily to change
- Ensures that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement
- Operates job-related equipment with or without an accommodation
- Meets physical demands of job with or without an accommodation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements: **

- Technical school certification preferred, high school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year experience
- Proficient using precision measure tools, GD&T, and shop math
- Blueprint reading
- Understand and interpret customer specifications
- Familiar with G and M programming codes
- Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions
- Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed, and perform work independently without being prompted
- Ability to manage competing priorities, prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and work within deadlines
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR requirement)

Schedule:
• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Night shift, Monday - Thursday
• Weekend shift, Friday – Sunday
• Overtime available
Shift Differential will be added to your base pay
