Role: Salesforce Project Manager
Location: Indianapolis IN
Type: FTE
Onsite 2-3 days in a week
We are looking for Salesforce delivery experience (3-5 years). Agency integration, B2B Commerce phase 2, Einstein for Service.
Mandatory Skills :
1) 5-8 years of experience in two of the three Sales, Service and Marketing
2) Ability to conduct requirements workshops
3) Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria, write test scenarios and execute testing
4) Ability to do configurations in Salesforce
Responsibilities :
- analyzing requirements and developing data-driven solutions in conjunction with the Functional Managers
- Salesforce product expertise Sales/Service/Marketing,
- strong communication and documentation skills,
- understanding of business process and mapping,
- understanding of data management,
- develop and deliver requirements as well as test scripts for UAT,
- 2 years of experience with a Salesforce Administrator certification and ideally a dedicated Salesforce Business Analyst certification (nice to have, not a must have)
Purpose:
This position supports the Information Services (IS) Project Management Office (PMO) by planning, coordinating and controlling project activities so that projects are completed successfully and meet their intended goals. This role is intended to serve the digital domain including all websites and related development, ecommerce, sales, customer service and marketing related technologies and development.
The project manager's role is to coordinate the planning, scheduling and tracking of IS programs and projects that make up the IS project portfolio. This includes the development and management of project timelines, budget, key deliverables, partner communications and the coordination of related internal and external (vendor) resources. The Project Manager reports to the IS PMO Director.
Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the PMO and the IT Governance function
- Ability to complete project planning duties for sophisticated projects regardless of the toolset being used for the specific initiative
- Proactively lead changes in scope, schedule, resources and budget for all portfolio projects and enhancements
- Identify any issues/risks to portfolio/program/project success and develop mitigation plans to lead them throughout the project life cycle
- Mentor and coach IS managers with the creation and maintenance of smaller projects and the completion of related artifacts in the project portfolio
- Build project status reports and steering team presentations that convey project status, milestone achievement, risks, issues and key next steps
- Engage with partners to ensure there is a clear understanding and alignment of the long-term vision in order to maintain an updated roadmap as initiatives are delivered
- Monitor the availability of internal and external (vendor) resources to complete projects
- Forecast future vendor needs based on the IS Portfolio Plan and work with the IS Vendor Managers to ensure vendor resources are procured timely to meet project timelines
- Assist in the development of IS Portfolio updates and related Key Performance Indicators
- Evaluate and refine project management processes as appropriate and provide training to partners
- Incorporate, where applicable, organization organizational change activities in service of implementations
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- minimum of 5 years prior project management experience in the digital domain, preferred.
- Salesforce project implementation history preferred.
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and project management scheduling tools is essential including; MS Project, MS Planner, Jira, and Smartsheet.
- Ability to accurately develop and lead multiple sophisticated project timelines concurrently is also crucial.
The successful candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills and the ability to lead multiple, conflicting priorities. Must have a strong desire to get tasks accomplished and desire to function as part of a team. Must possess highly developed facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills with validated results. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable. This position requires limited travel.
