GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW
The Space Management Analyst manages cargo space for HMM shipping lines and optimizes the utilization in order to better serve customers and provide the most cost-effective operation for the company. This position is in charge of overall booking monitoring and cargo control. Lease with Commercial, Operational, Equipment Dept to maximize vessel utilization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
- Reviews and assigns allocations to regions on a quarterly basis
- Inputs laden projections daily and works with Equipment department to ensure BSA fulfillment
- Monitors booking activity and releases bookings from queue
- Opens communication with other groups within the organization to build a stronger team
- Monitors and keeps route more efficient
- Performs other duties as assigned.
