About VIIA
VIIA (Verified Interest, Intent, and Affinity Data) is HMP Global’s proprietary data product, capturing behavioral (experiential) data generated from HCP engagement across our extensive content ecosystem. By linking healthcare provider NPI numbers to specific engagement behaviors—such as interest in drugs, diseases, authors/key opinion leaders (KOLs), and knowledge assessments—VIIA provides valuable insights to pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare companies.
The Opportunity
HMP Global is seeking a Product Director to lead the strategic vision, commercialization, and growth of VIIA. This leadership role is responsible for managing the product roadmap, driving adoption in the market, and overseeing revenue-generating initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare data, analytics, and the needs of pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
- Define and execute the long-term product strategy and roadmap for VIIA.
- Lead product innovation efforts, working with data science and engineering teams to enhance VIIA’s capabilities.
- Ensure VIIA’s data structure, content tagging, and behavioral insights align with market needs and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics into VIIA’s offerings.
Market Expansion & Commercialization
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy, including positioning, pricing, and customer segmentation.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling messaging and sales enablement materials.
- Establish key partnerships to expand VIIA’s market reach and integration opportunities.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth by working closely with sales teams and directly engaging with key clients.
- Lead presentations, pitches, and negotiations with pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organizations.
- Define performance metrics and continuously analyze sales data to optimize VIIA’s positioning and pricing strategy.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
- Serve as the internal and external champion for VIIA, ensuring alignment across business units.
- Work with HMP Global’s content, data science, and technology teams to enhance engagement tracking and insights.
- Maintain a strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance considerations.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in product management, commercial strategy, or business development, with a focus on healthcare data, analytics, or SaaS.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare providers (HCPs), pharmaceutical commercialization, and real-world evidence/data.
- Proven success in developing and scaling data-driven products for the life sciences or healthcare markets.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of engaging C-level executives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and business growth.
