Job Summary: As the IT Director in a dynamic corporate and manufacturing environment, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all information technology systems and services. You will lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the seamless operation of technology infrastructure, applications, and support across both corporate offices, warehousing and manufacturing facilities. Your strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership will contribute to optimizing efficiency, productivity, and innovation within the organization.


Responsibilities:

Strategic IT Leadership:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategies with corporate goals and manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that supports business growth, scalability, and technology advancements.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
  • Provide guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems and data, considering the unique needs of corporate and manufacturing environments.

Application Management:

  • Manage the lifecycle of business-critical applications, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and other relevant software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Security and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and protocols to safeguard sensitive corporate and manufacturing data.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and compliance regulations to ensure IT systems meet required standards.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Create and manage the IT department budget, making strategic decisions on technology investments and cost-effective solutions.
  • Optimize resource allocation and procurement processes to support the organization's technology needs.

Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of quality services.

Change Management:

  • Lead IT initiatives, projects, and system upgrades, managing change effectively across corporate and manufacturing teams.
  • Communicate changes, potential impacts, and benefits to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology-driven opportunities and address challenges.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8 years) in IT leadership roles, with a focus on corporate and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, security, and applications.
  • Experience with ERP and MES systems implementation and management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology with business objectives.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing and corporate environments.
