Position Summary
This Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing routine accounting tasks, including organizing and updating financial records, account reconciliations, conducting month-end and year-end closures, to support the company’s financial operations.
This position provides hands-on experience in a collaborative and innovative workplace with exposure to global finance functions. Essential Job Functions
- Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
- Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field strongly preferred
- 0-2 years of accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation
- Knowledge of accounting information systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze numerical data accurately.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
