Job Summary
HN is currently seeking, to our Textile circularity project, a highly motivated and skilled Junior or Senior technician/ chemist/ operator that will grow with us. This position requires expertise in machine operation, science and chemical laboratory work. The ideal candidate should hold a science degree in a relevant field and possess strong communication, organizational, and technical skills. Provides hands on textile recycling operation, chemical laboratory work to support research, development, and implementation of a textile circularity project.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation and analysis of our textile circularity project.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with third parties, including engineer companies, to ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
- Search, Identify and contact vendors for existing equipment and parts needed for the system.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, manuals, and documentation for the system.
- Comply with safety guidelines and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Chemical Laboratory Work
- Conduct a variety of chemical experiments and analyses, following established protocols and safety procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure proper calibration.
- Prepare, handle, and dispose of chemical reagents and samples according to safety guidelines.
- Collect and interpret experimental data, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the analysis of results.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop research proposals, publications, and presentations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of laboratory procedures, experiments, and outcomes.
- Assist in writing research reports, publications, and presentations for internal and external dissemination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Experience in working in a operating machines or in chemical laboratory is required.
- Experience in Automation, machine building, machine operation preferred
- Experience in prototyping, testing, and validation preferred
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.31 - $35.09 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
