As a key member of our Low Voltage Technologies Group, you will be responsible for planning and supervising crews working on projects.
This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Smartsheets and Microsoft Office applications. Additionally, knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optic cable installation, and security is essential. Experience splicing various types of fiber optic cables, including single-mode, multi-mode, stranded, and ribbon, is also necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise crews working on projects
- Set expectations and remove obstacles hindering crew success
- Prepare and review pre-construction project documents
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork
- Provide regular updates with a two-week look-ahead schedule
Technical Requirements:
- Working knowledge of structured cabling systems, including fiber optic cable installation and security
- Experience splicing various types of fiber optic cables, including single-mode, multi-mode, stranded, and ribbon
- Ability to perform optical continuity and conformance testing
- Familiarity with fusion splicing and optical testing equipment
