Position Summary
Ho-Chunk, Inc. is seeking an innovative Digital Media Specialist to join our Corporate Communications Team to help guide social media, content creation, and digital campaigns. This role will be responsible for developing engaging content, analyzing performance data, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage content across social media.
- Content Management: Develop and manage content strategy, including video, photography, and copy for social media, websites, and digital campaigns.
- Community Engagement: Monitor audience interactions, respond to comments/messages, and foster brand engagement.
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Ensure consistency across all digital platforms, aligning with Ho-Chunk, Inc.'s mission.
- Campaign Analytics: Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize content strategy.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams to highlight company initiatives, employee achievements, and business updates.
- Internal Communications: Assist in crafting and distributing internal email campaigns to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Digital Asset Management: Organize and maintain content libraries, including photos, videos, and branded materials.
Qualifications
Required:
- A degree or relevant certification in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field; or 2 years professional experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, and engagement strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in videography or photography.
- Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, and web analytics tools.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Primarily remote based in the greater Omaha, Nebraska area with the ability to occasionally travel to company locations in Omaha, Lincoln, and Winnebago, Nebraska. Travel estimated at 15%.
- Family-friendly schedule allowing flexibility for those with children or other personal commitments.
- Monday to Friday, regular business hours. Some work events and activities may take place outside of regular business hours but not regularly.
