Ho’ola Na Pua (New Life For Our Children) is a Hawaii-based non-profit founded to shine light on the dark criminal enterprise of child sex trafficking, placing the health and healing of Hawaii’s youth at the center of our mission and vision for our community. We are committed to the treatment and prevention of sex trafficking while providing care for children who have been exploited.

We are seeking to partner with an elite Chief Executive Officer who has an intense desire and passion to guide and build an organization that is at the forefront of childhood trauma and sexual exploitation.
In this role you will…
Have the opportunity to partner with local, regional, and national experts and change agents in the Domestic Minors of Sex Trafficking (DMST) space.
Lead an agency that delivers and operates evidence-based, high-quality, community-based and residential treatment services to youth from Hawaii and the mainland.
Partner with individuals who share your passion for ending the scourge that is childhood sex trafficking.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead both the strategic vision and oversight over operational management of HNP and its Pearl Haven Residential Treatment Center. This role will work collaboratively with the Founder, and key responsibilities include :
Strategic leadership – Developing and implementing the vision, mission, and strategic goals as HNP considers strategies to broaden its reach and impact.
Operational Management – Overseeing compliance, financials, budgets, resources, and facilities.
Team management and development – Recruiting, training, and retaining a diverse team of professionals.
Community outreach and communication – Building and maintaining relationships with individuals and organizations critical to accomplishing HNP’s mission.
Fundraising / Donor engagement – Identifying opportunities for fundraising, including diverse donor communication and solicitation as well as grant identification and writing efforts.
Board Engagement – Communicating and collaborating with an experienced Board of Directors, with emphasis on strategic planning and governance, through regular updates on organizational performance and key initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and ideally a proven track record in the diverse activities associated with non-profit and residential treatment centers.
10 years of executive management experience, with proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience.
Proven success working with non-profits, boards of directors, and outside stakeholders.
Experience in financial management, marketing, strategic planning, and day-to-day operational oversight.
Strong marketing, public relations / speaking, business development, and fundraising acumen with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.
Excellent / persuasive communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A history of commitment and passion for helping young people overcome challenges and build a brighter future.
Additional Considerations
Potential expansion of the proven HNP local model to include regional and national impact.
Success in this role necessitates a full-time local presence, although applicants are welcome from outside of Hawaii.
Salary TBD, and may include bonus options for achievement of agreed KPIs.
The role requires leadership engagement at periodic evening and weekend events (e.g., fundraisers, dinners).
The role offers a unique blend of operational oversight, local and national communication / speaking, and successful / innovative fundraising.
