Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Develop business process maps and reengineering strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Identify new applications of technology to solve business problems and improve effectiveness.
- Assist with developing and standardizing business and technical metadata documentation.
- Work directly with public health program staff and IT teams to implement data governance solutions.
- Guide stakeholders through technology and process-related changes.
- Prepare and deliver verbal and written communications, presentations, and reports for non-technical staff.
- Plan, monitor, and report on program engagement and progress toward metadata library goals.
- Formulate solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build evaluations.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify technical solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align project goals with business needs.
- Document business and technical metadata within data governance tools.
- Ensure metadata documentation is accurate, consistent, and comprehensive.
- Support other data governance priorities as needed.
