Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee critical projects within our organization. This position requires expertise in planning, budgeting, documentation, and team coordination to ensure successful project execution. The Cloud Cybersecurity Project Manager III will manage a complex Cloud Cybersecurity project, requiring advanced security project management experience and a strong background in web information systems, application development, and cybersecurity controls.
This role requires the ability to manage staff, including up to three team members such as an Application/Software Developer and two Network Security Analysts. The Project Manager must also fill gaps when resources are limited, independently performing a range of Information Technology (IT) tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, budget, and oversee Cloud Cybersecurity projects to ensure timely completion.
- Implement best practices in security, compliance, and risk management.
- Ensure projects adhere to Health and Human Services (HHS) and Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Security and IT Standards.
- Coordinate with the Managed Services vendor to maintain project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Supervise a team of up to three staff augmentation contractors.
- Assign responsibilities to Application/Software Developers and Network Security Analysts.
- Fill technical and managerial gaps as needed to maintain project progress.
- Compliance & Best Practices
- Follow the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Project Management Framework.
- Ensure enterprise portfolio project management software is used effectively for project tracking.
- Monitor and enforce DSHS cybersecurity and information security policies.
- Risk Management & Performance Optimization
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Manage vulnerability assessment applications and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
- Develop contingency plans and proactive solutions for security vulnerabilities.
