Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Hobbie & DeCarlo, P.C. in Eatontown, NJ.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 9 hours per day with paid overtime and a reliable vehicle for business travel.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive client contact and communication with attorneys, paralegals, court personnel, clients, and claims staff.
- Preparation, reviewing, filing, and serving pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas.
- Conducting legal research and writing assignments, including medical chronologies and deposition summaries.
- Providing direct pre-trial and trial support to attorneys on litigated matters of varying complexity.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience working in a plaintiff litigation law firm.
- Proficient in executing complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, focused, technologically savvy, adaptable to learning new systems and processes, and able to prioritize and multitask.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility in work hours is essential.
- General knowledge of law office operations, practices, and procedures (including electronic filing).

Compensation:
