What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025-2026 Academic Support Center Coordinator - Anticipated Opening position at Hoboken Public School District?
- NJ Instructional or Non-Instructional Certification
- Minimum of 10 years school based experience required
- Supervisor or Principal Certification preferrred
- Works collaboratively with High School Administration to organize daily tutoring programs & home instruction
- Participates on the I&RS Team
- Works closely with the CST & Directors of SBYSP and Special Services
- Works collaboratively with Guidance Counselors to monitor absences and grades of all students
- Works collaboratively with the Athletic Director to monitor grades of student athletes, ensure NCAA eligibility of all athletes, and assist with the college athlete recruitment process
- Works collaboratively with the Stevens Institute of Technology's Work Study Coordinator
- Designs academic support programs and prep programs for all students
- Oversees virtual learning programs
- Ensure the ongoing growth and expansion of the Academic Support Center, ensuring it evolves with the changing academic, social-emotional, and extracurricular needs of our students. The ideal candidate will have the ability to not only manage current programming but also innovates and scales new initiatives that promote equity, access, and academic excellence across all student groups.
