The Residential Roofing Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of residential roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage on-site activities and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Supervision: Oversee daily operations on roofing sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Team Management: Supervise, train, and support roofing crews, ensuring all team members are performing their duties efficiently and safely.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work meets company standards and client specifications, addressing any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Material Management: Ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and accounted for.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, work orders, and time sheets.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to the work schedule.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a roofing supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of residential roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
