Campus Maintenance Expert
Hocking College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities department. As a custodial services supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our campus buildings and grounds.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with building cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that all areas of the campus meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Plan, prioritize, and complete work in the most efficient way possible while working in accordance with all city, state, and federal codes.
- Read floor plans, technical drawings, instructional drawings, and building codes to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Present continuing recommendations for institutional process improvements.
- Create and complete materials lists, estimates, bid proposals, work orders, purchase orders, tool, equipment, asset, chemical, and stock inventories.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or completion of an apprenticeship preferred.
- Previous employment in a related position with experience working in procedural or management roles.
- Mechanical or trade certification and licensure, with ability to gain certifications if required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and basic math, communications, and public relations skills.
