As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for efficiently providing solutions to customer questions, concerns, and inquiries through a positive and respectful dialogue. You will serve as a main point of contact for our customers by handling inbound and outbound delivery and service-related calls and performing administrative functions, ensuring the highest level of customer service, quality, efficiency, and accuracy in all that you do. Ability to multi-task and effectively manage customer calls and other administrative responsibilities is essential.
Responsibilities
- Professionally handle incoming calls, assessing the caller's needs to achieve satisfaction (Payment, Sales Lead, Phone Order, Emergency Delivery/Service, Hazardous, Customer Service).
- Provide accurate and relevant information using reference materials and tools.
- Accesses company databases and job aids to ensure accurate call handling.
- Record details of caller contact and actions taken.
- Perform any administrative tasks assigned.
- Handle incoming calls and utilize a proactive approach with every customer interaction to answer questions and/or concerns.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Hocon Propane and Oil products and services, customer account and billing processes, new customer information, and various policies and procedures related to product delivery and service
- Present a professional, confident, and enthusiastic image to develop trusting relationships with all customers
- Provide high levels of customer account management by properly setting up and maintaining account information and data
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the fuel oil or propane industries
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry, and the ability to run and analyze reports using Fuel Industry software
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment
