A high-volume, fast-paced environment where you will drive strategic sales initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction through innovative solutions and the cultivation of influential, long-term client relationships. Leverage your expertise to identify new business opportunities, optimize existing accounts, and employ data-driven insights and face-to-face engagements to consistently exceed sales and gross margin targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster a proactive, customer-centric sales approach by identifying and delivering innovative solutions that enhance our product offerings and drive customer satisfaction.

  • Cultivate and maintain influential, long-term relationships with clients through consultative sales, exceptional communication, and understanding of customers unique challenges and comprehensive business requirements.

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while growing existing accounts, utilizing face-to-face engagements to enhance visibility and deepen trust.

  • Meet and exceed territory sales and gross margin goals by leveraging personal expertise, information resources, and employing advanced sales strategies using Salesforce.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficient in cold calling and driving new business development in untapped/new territories.

  • Expertise in consultative selling and negotiation, with a strong emphasis on relationship management.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by active listing to effectively address client needs.

  • Proven organizational abilities and time management skills, with adaptability to evolving environments and expectations.

  • In-depth market analysis and strategic planning capabilities, with a deep understanding of product offerings and customer attributes.

  • Analytical acumen for assessing market trends, product knowledge, and identifying client priorities.

  • Strong collaboration skills that foster effective team dynamics and partnerships.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, excel, and data analysis, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency.

  • Professional presentation skills, including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products.  

  • Results-driven mindset focused on achieving/exceeding measurable outcomes and targets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field is preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales/new business development experience is required.

  • Industrial, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred. 

  • Willingness to travel by car, air, or other conveyances for client meetings, with overnight travel required.

  • Proficiency in utilizing Salesforce or related CRM tools for lead generation and account management.

  • Willingness and ability to work in a drug-free workplace as part of our Drug Free Safety Program.

  • Must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a 7-year criminal background screen.

Work Location: Cypress, TX regional office, managing the Houston/West market, with opportunities for remote work.

Job Type: Full-time; Exempt

Salary: Base commission, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
