The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on HVAC systems, cleanroom & cold room environments, and other critical infrastructure. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management :
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of complex engineering projects, with a focus on HVAC and pharmaceutical infrastructure.
Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Technical Expertise :
Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, cleanroom environments, and other critical systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, and implement best practices within the engineering department.
Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and plans, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Core Competencies :
In-depth knowledge and experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, particularly in cold room and cleanroom environments.
Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Expertise in navigating and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering
Extensive experience in HVAC systems and cleanroom / cold room design.
Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects in a regulated environment.
